Golrang Ventures’ presence at the Bandar Abbas “Derang” event and sharing experience with managers of leading industries
The educational event “ Derang ” aimed at personal and professional development and strengthening the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem was held in Bandar Abbas from 27 to 29 June 2021. The event included five specialized boot camps with the presence of more than 30 prominent instructors from reputable economic enterprises in the country. A large number of managers and senior experts from major Iranian industries participated in it. Companies such as Hormozgan Steel, Kaveh Steel, Saba Steel, Gas Company, Sarkhun Gas Refinery, Setareh Oil, Aftab Oil, and other prominent industrial units were among the most important attendees of the event.
One of the key parts of this event was the transfer of Golrang Industrial Group’s experience in the field of organizational innovation, which was carried out by Zohreh Lorek , Head of Golrang Ventures’ Innovation Ecosystem Development Department. Lorek examined common challenges in shaping the innovation ecosystem in the talk “Designing the Path of Innovation Ecosystem in Industry,” including existing obstacles and operational solutions used by Golrang Ventures. After that, in the expert panel held on the first day of the event, she answered questions and answered the discussions raised, thus providing a valuable opportunity for the Bandar Abbas event to exchange experiences and brainstorm among experts and activists in the fields of industry and technology.
The role of Golrang Ventures in developing the innovation ecosystem
Golrang Ventures considers the development of knowledge and experience in the field of organizational innovation and continuous support for the innovation ecosystem across the country to be among its main missions and evaluates active participation in local events such as “Derang” in order to achieve these major goals. Also, since Golrang Ventures is known as one of the main players in the development of the organizational innovation ecosystem in the country, by attending “Derang”, in addition to presenting previous experiences, it tried to learn about the needs and conditions of various companies and, in the process of networking with industry managers and experts, to once again clearly outline the current position of the Golrang Industrial Group’s value chain in order to increase innovative interactions and collaborations. The presence of managers of large industries in this event showed how serious the concern for innovation and updating industrial processes is among Iranian economic actors.
The event played a significant role in enhancing the knowledge and specialized skills of the participants by providing intensive and practical bootcamps on topics such as artificial intelligence in industry, digital marketing, product management and soft skills. The ultimate goal of this event was to create a platform for further empowering innovation ecosystem activists, business owners, product managers, marketing experts and all those interested in the fields of technology and entrepreneurship in the region. It is hoped that the results of these interactions and educational programs will contribute to the growing growth and prosperity of the innovation ecosystem and the country’s industrial sector, and that in the long term we will witness tangible changes in the country’s industrial space.
