The first edition of the Golrang Innovation Award concluded with its final event on January 13, 1402 at the Iranian Post and Communications Museum.
The Golrang Innovation Award was designed as an activity in the field of intra-organizational innovation by Golrang Ventures, the venture capital arm of Golrang Industrial Group, in the spring of 1402.
On July 24, the call for the Innovation Award was published on the Golrang Industrial Group portal and was communicated to all colleagues at all administrative levels and factories nationwide through various means in cooperation with the public relations and HSE units. The audience for this program was 45,000+ colleagues who spent 7 weeks brainstorming and registering their ideas on the Golrang Ventures innovation portal.
During this period, 1,615 ideas were received, which entered the judging process in 4 stages, taking into account various parameters.
First stage: Formal screening
At this stage, all registered ideas were reviewed and screened for completeness and clarity in the presentation of the problem and solution. Based on the topics presented, the selected ideas were categorized into 17 categories.
Step 2: Technical review
In the technical review, based on the categories of the previous stage, with the presence of experts from the subsidiaries of the Golrang Industrial Group, 17 specialized committees were formed with the titles of detergent production and equipment, detergent plastics and packaging, detergent quality control and HSE, cosmetics and hygiene, e-commerce, chain stores, new information technology systems, current information technology systems, human resources, distribution, pharmaceuticals, food, finance, cellulose, energy, management and organization, environment, and recycling.
The judging processes were carried out automatically on the Golrang Ventures innovation portal, and the selected ideas were sent to the judges without identifying information, and they were reviewed and scored on the spot.
Step 3: Presenting ideas
This stage began with a workshop on how to present the problem and solution for the selected candidates, and individuals introduced themselves and presented their ideas to the judging committees online at different intervals. During the judging and Q&A sessions, the presenters were also given points.
Step 4: Ranking the top ideas
Finally, all the points were ranked. Initially, 1,615 ideas were registered on the Golrang Ventures innovation portal, of which 425 ideas made it to the second stage, 78 ideas to the third stage, and finally 20 ideas to the fourth stage.
The judging process for the first edition of the Golrang Innovation Award was completed with the presence of 48 experts and managers from various companies in different fields as judges, and the 20 selected individuals were introduced at the closing ceremony on January 13.

The ceremony was held in the presence of Dr. Mehdi Fazli, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Dr. Masoud Sezavar Zakarian, Deputy CEO of Golrang Industrial Group, as well as the CEOs and senior managers of the group. The ceremony began with the presentation of Dr. Solmaz Sadeghnia, CEO of Golrang Ventures, and continued with the appreciation and thanks to the selected winners, judges, and companions.
At the closing ceremony of the Golrang Innovation Award, the Innovation Club was unveiled and it was announced that each year the award winners would become members of the club and would be able to benefit from its benefits. Of the ideas put forward, 18 were defined in the form of projects and working groups, and future meetings are being coordinated for their implementation.

Awards
A total of 550 million Tomans in cash was awarded to the winners in the first round of the Golrang Innovation Award.
The first to fifth place winners will receive 80 million Tomans, 60 million Tomans, 50 million Tomans, 45 million Tomans, and 40 million Tomans, respectively.
Fifth to tenth place winners: 25 million Tomans each
Tenth to twentieth place winners: 15 million Tomans
In addition to those selected for correctly identifying the problem and providing a solution, the ceremony had 5 other winners titled “The Best” who were awarded 100,000 “Tara” credits.
The Innovation Award was designed and held with three general goals: creating a culture of innovative thinking at all levels, utilizing the potential of colleagues to solve challenges, and creating a platform to recognize the capabilities of all individuals.
