The Golrang Corporate Venture Capital Research and Technology Fund’s operating license, as the country’s largest venture capital fund with a registered capital of 10 trillion rials, was issued after a visit by the supervisors of the Research and Technology Funds Working Group. According to Golrang Ventures’ public relations report; Supervisors from the Working Group Secretariat visited the activities and infrastructure of the Golrang Corporate Venture Capital Research and Technology Fund. The topics reviewed during this visit included reviewing the regulations and financial transaction guidelines, human resources and investment, office, familiarization with and review of the fund’s expert team and financial software. The Golrang CVC Fund will start operating as the largest corporate venture capital fund with a capital of 10 trillion rials; The shareholders of which are the companies: Ofog Kourosh Chain Stores , Kourosh Food Industry , Paksho Industrial Group , Pakan Plastkar , Padideh Shimi Jam , Irandar , Golpakhsh Awal , Arian Kimia Tech , Padideh Shimi Gharn , Padideh Paydar Capital Management, Sepehr Plastic Padideh , Arian Salamat Sina , Marinasan Cellulose Industries , Golrang Industrial Group Innovation and New Technologies Center , Golrang System , and Fanavaran ENIAC Rayane . The license for this fund was approved at the 26th meeting of the permanent working group of the Steering Council for Knowledge-Based Technologies and Products in January 1402. Corporate research and venture technology funds are established with the participation of large companies and aim to attract technologies and invest in innovative products and operate exclusively in the field of venture capital. These funds have received their establishment licenses in accordance with the guidelines for the establishment and operation of corporate research and venture technology funds approved in the meeting of 22/12/1401 in the permanent working group of the Steering Council for Knowledge-Based Technologies and Products. So far, 18 CVC fund establishment licenses have been granted with a total capital of 3.8 hemat, of which 8 corporate research and venture technology funds have succeeded in obtaining operating licenses.
