Golrang Ventures attended the Kurdistan Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Development Event.
The TAAK (Development of the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem) event was held in Sanandaj with the participation of more than 200 Kurdish women with businesses. The Sanandaj Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture in collaboration with the Kurdistan Women Entrepreneurs Committee organized this 54-hour event from 10th to 11th of Khordad 1403 at the Kurdistan Agricultural and Natural Resources Research and Education Center.
According to IRNA, a representative of the technical committee of the Talk event stated at the ceremony: “More than 260 ideas were sent to us, and ultimately 200 ideas were finalized in the form of 41 teams. These ideas were reviewed by three expert judging panels, and ultimately 9 teams were introduced as the winners.”
The teams present at this event are working at different levels of maturity in the fields of natural cosmetics production, saffron production, e-commerce, carpets, handicrafts, food tourism, gold and jewelry, agriculture, perfume production, medicinal plants, etc.
Golrang Ventures had an active presence at the Kurdistan Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Development Event, in line with the development of the innovation ecosystem of Golrang Industrial Group, and, considering its role in the field of venture capital, presented a training workshop on “How to Present to Investors.” Another role of Golrang Ventures in this event was mentoring the participating teams during the three-day event from 8:00 AM to 00:00 PM.
Zohreh Lorek, Head of Innovation Ecosystem Development at Golrang Ventures, accompanied by Mahmoud Mousavi, Advisor to the Board of Directors of Snap Group, Katayoun Sepehri, Director of Manesh Accelerator, Afsaneh Ehsani, Authenticity Specialist in Handicrafts, Shima Sharifi, CEO of Nezam Digital Marketing Agency, Akram Beheshti, Legal Specialist, Keyvan Mellat, Designer and Architect, Reza Dehghan, PhD in Entrepreneurship, Mohammad Ali Vadood, Bashari Mohajer, and Salar Kohzadi, experts in the fields of tourism and handicrafts, etc., provided mentoring and workshops for this event.
In addition, in order to better familiarize Golrang Ventures with the Kurdistan innovation ecosystem, meetings were held with Ali Akbar Abdul Maleki, President of the Sanandaj Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, Kurdan Asadi, Secretary of the Chamber, and Mohammad Saeed Ahmadpanah, Vice President of the Chamber and Head of its Growth and Innovation Center.
