Golrang Ventures attended the pre-event of the 9th Fajr Computer Games Festival at the Salam 100 Startups Event Center on Monday, December 26.
This event was held on the theme of investment and was attended by a group of game developers, publishers, accelerators, and venture capitalists in the creative and knowledge-based industries.
Afshin Khalili Samani, senior investment expert at Golrang Ventures, announced at the event that Golrang Ventures, as the venture capital arm of Golrang Industrial Group, welcomes investment in the field of computer games and is ready to review applicant teams and companies.
He continued, “From our perspective, the gaming sector is still in the blue ocean and has great appeal for investment and co-investment.”
Khalili Samani finally referred to Golrang Ventures’ call for investment in this field and invited applicants to register their application on the CVC’s innovation portal in order to participate in investment meetings and negotiations.

According to the Public Relations Department of the National Computer Games Foundation; Following this event, Hassan Mehdi Asl, CEO of “Sorena Games” and Mostafa Keyvanian, CEO of “Ano” Studio, addressed the challenges and opportunities of the gaming industry in Iran in speeches, and then a roundtable discussion on investment opportunities in the Iranian computer games industry was held, hosted by Arash Sarwari, a technology expert, and attended by Mohammad Mehdi Behfarrad, CEO of “Madrik” Studio, Mohammad Zehtabi, CEO of “Payizan” Studio, Ali Nadalizadeh, CEO of “TAD” Studio, Abolfazl Sadegh, CEO of “Tetra Puzzle” Studio, Shahriar Azharianfar, CEO of “Nardban Andisheh Farda” Studio, Alireza Farahani, Deputy Director of Regulation and Business of the National Computer Games Foundation, as well as the participation of some managers and representatives of investment funds and accelerators.
Referring to the current approach in presenting a new path for holding the 9th Fajr Computer Games Festival, Mohammad Amin Haji Hashemi, CEO of the Foundation, stated: “Over the years, the game industry in the country has somehow managed to find its way despite all the internal shortcomings and shortcomings and external problems, and now it has reached a point where, in our opinion, it must introduce and connect its strengths.”
The secretary of the 9th Fajr Computer Games Festival said: “We currently have more than 10 companies in the country that have international activities and were able to completely design the production and supply chain.”

The deadline to participate in the 9th Fajr Computer Games Festival and the Ghazal Launch Pad Investment Event has been extended until December 5th.
Also, the second pre-event of the investment section of the 9th Fajr Computer Games Festival will be held in January, during which investors will present their opinions and select the best games for investment.
