Golrang Ventures at the Annual Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Gathering

Golrang Ventures attended the third annual Southern Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Conference.

The annual Launch Platform event, as an annual gathering of the Southern Entrepreneurship Ecosystem, was held on March 7 by Orange House at Al-Zahra Hall in Bandar Abbas.

The Launch Pad is an annual gathering of the Southern Entrepreneurship Ecosystem, which is held with the participation of activists in the fields of entrepreneurship, startups, and innovation in the country, especially in the South, with the aim of further developing and understanding the entrepreneurial ecosystem, reviewing the growth trend of this ecosystem in the past year, and developing new connections.

This event, in its third year, hosted Golrang Ventures , Alibaba , Valex , Derak cloud , Blue Bank , and more.

Hasti Fazli, Head of International Development, and Fargol Boroumand, Head of Business Development at Golrang Ventures, attended the event.

In addition, Alireza Nasiri, Head of Hormozgan Science and Technology Park, Abdolhossein Tavangari; CEO of the Southern Industry Knowledge Assessment, Yousef Farahani; Content Manager of Alibaba, Mohammad Javad Azari-Jahromi; Former Minister of Communications, Hamed Noorzad; Brand Strategy and Communications Manager of the Valex Digital Currency Exchange, Sara Rad; Co-founder of Abar Drak, Arash Borjikhani; Business Partner of Pishtaz Teb Zaman Group, Ahmad Ebrahimi; Business Manager of Blue Junior Blue Bank, Amirnazemi; Researcher in the Field of Technology Policy, and Parsa Sharafi; Co-founder of Orange House were among the presenters of this event.

At this event, Golrang Ventures presented the opportunities of Golrang Industrial Group in the innovation ecosystem. The experience gained in an industrial group over the years of activity and its use in continuing the path of innovation evolution and its connection to the world of startups and innovation were among the things that Hasti Fazli and Fargol Boroumand referred to. Another topic was the expansion of Golrang Ventures’ activities in the south of the country and accompanying the innovation ecosystem of these regions.

In this program, Alireza Nasiri spoke about the performance of the Hormozgan Science and Technology Park and Abdolhossein Tavangari about the connection between startups and industry.

Yousef Farahani continued by listing the dos and don’ts of a startup and emphasized: “The simplest concept of strategy for startups is the awareness and knowledge of saying “no” and rarely using “yes.”

After that, Amir Nazemi spoke about different perspectives on the field of information technology and its impact on strategic decisions, and Sara Rad spoke about the growth path of startups outside the center and the growth and development path of Aberdraak. She also spoke about the importance of forming connections between businesses in order to grow and develop the innovation space in the south of the country and attract specialized and experienced personnel.

Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi, in a presentation emphasizing the art of integration, referred to the art of living and integrating each other’s choices, and the balance of these choices makes up our lives. In other words, our lifestyle is a combination of our choices, and the art of living well is the art of integrating choices well.

Parsa Sharafi, co-founder of Orange House, gave a presentation focused on community building and pointed out three unique characteristics of great community builders, namely building active communication channels, offline communication with their community, and readiness to help their community. He stated that Orange House, as the first startup broker in the south, has been active in this field for several years. He then spoke about the importance of networking.

Arash Borjikhani, business partner of Pishtaz Tab Zaman Group, presented on the impact of CVCs on businesses and factors, barriers to market entry, and market development timing.

Hamed Noorzad continued by talking about branding strategies in the world of artificial intelligence, emphasizing that in a world where artificial intelligence tools are becoming more and more of a new innovation every day, how can brands form an independent identity for themselves and create an identity for their brand? He stated: “Artificial intelligence is a powerful assistant on the path of brands, not the path itself.”

Finally, Ahmad Ebrahimi began his speech by sharing some of his experiences in the growth and development of Bluebank, starting with the history of Bluebank’s activities, and then ending with the concept of customer-centricity and creating a solution tailored to Bluebank’s target customers.
